REVIEW & SWATCH | Stila Magnificent Metals Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in 'Kitten'

Oh YES to glossy eye-lids that can create such versatile day-to-night looks. The possibilities are honestly endless with these Liquid Eyeshadows. Stila is rapidly becoming one of my favourite high-end makeup brands since I discovered that I can't live without their Stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner. Therefore, on a dry January evening, I was just having a casual browse on Cult Beauty (you know, as you do secretly every night) and came across these brand new Magnificent Metals Shimmer and Glow Eyeshadows and, again, absent-mindedly (or not) clicked 'add to bag'. I purchased the shade 'Kitten' as a safe option, but would definitely want to try out all 11 of them! The shade range is so versatile.

Top 5 Foundations - 2017

I’m going to be super cliche here and say, “what the f***... it’s 2018 in 2 days? Where has the year gone?”, because it’s bloody true! This year has flown on by, but I’m so glad that I’ve been blessed with another healthy and happy year.

What’s more is that I’ve had a not-so-bad complexion year - ( I know, first world problems, right?!). Thanks to finally finding a skincare routine which works well for me, I’ve managed to find/fall in love with some cult foundations and some new releases! 

Just an update, my skin is currently normal-dry and normal-oily in the summer, but these foundations have worked great for me. Read on to find out what’s got me loving the products pictured above.

REVIEW | Bare Minerals BAREPRO Liquid Foundation SPF20 - Sandstone 16

BareMinerals have done it! They've launched a liquid matte foundation and as a fan of their Original mineral foundations, I had to get my hands on this bad boy, too.  It promises 24-hour wear, a matte finish with a medium to full coverage, with 'good-to-skin' ingredients such as bamboo stem and papaya extract, which won't clog the pores. I worked for the company for 3 years and honestly, I saw some total hits and misses with new product launches, but overall the company had always strived to create products that are as natural and mineral-based as possible. They were great at training the staff about each new product and this is the first time I'm reviewing the product without the training, but it'll be based purely on my first impressions!
